Understanding Indian Cuisine


When we talk about India the first thing that comes in our mind is its diversity. As India is second largest country when it come’s to population. Different languages are spoken and it has about 28 states and 7 union territories. India is unique in its traditions and most important is its food. Therefore in every state different kind of food is served. The common thread that runs through most Indian food is the use of spices which helps in creating flavor and aroma.

It has been found that when it comes to food Indian take their food seriously. Therefore in India cooking is considered an art therefore mothers usually start teaching their daughters and pass down family recipes by show-and-tell, fairly young in life. Therefore in India mealtime plays important role for family to get together. Indian meals comprise several dishes such as ranging from staples like rice and breads to meat and vegetables and rounded off with a dessert. Therefore in almost every home in India food is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. It has been found that still number of Indian families purchase their favorite type of wheat, wash it, dry it in the sun and then take it in to a flourmill to have it ground into flour exactly the way they like, as opposed to buying flour from a store. But when it comes to bigger cities this trend is changing as people living in bigger cities prefer using ready-to-eat, pre-made ingredients foods. As this way they save their important time.

Indian people are very fascinated toward food as they like eating spicy and tasty food. These days’ numbers of TV channels are running cookery shows in which they teach latest recipes. And people like watching these shows. When we go back to history it has been found that India has been invaded and occupied by different cultures therefore each culture has left its own mark on Indian cuisine. India is one country in world which has variety of food to eat.

Eating in a proper way can help controlling diabetes


Health problem that is becoming common among number of individual is diabetes. Diabetes is happening due to wrong eating habits and stressful life. One thing that stuck almost every individual who suffer from diabetes is what should be eaten and how much should be eaten for preventing diabetes.
If you are individual who is suffering from diabetes keep one thing in mind that eating in a right was is a key step for preventing and controlling diabetes.

However if you are  trying to reduce risk level of diabetes or you are looking forward for managing a pre-existing problem, therefore you can still enjoy your favorite foods and take pleasure from your meals. As when it comes to nutrition needs keep one thing in mind that your nutritional needs are the same as everyone else therefore no special foods or complicated diets are necessary for you. Any how if the way  of eating is less than healthy man therefore it is very important to understand some better eating habits. The most important factor for diabetes patient is eating diet in moderation, sticking to regular mealtimes, and eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

These day diabetes is on the rise but number of diabetes cases are preventable with doing healthy lifestyle alterations. Therefore the bottom  line is that you have more control over your health than you think. Therefore it depends on you if you are serious about your diabetes therefore you can make a difference by eating a healthy diet, keeping your weight in check, and doing regular exercise.

Now lets understand three things for eating right way for diabetes:-
  1. The thing that matters the most is what you eat. As your diet makes a huge difference. Therefore you should eat mostly plant foods, avoid drinking sugary drinks, and choose healthy fats over unhealthy fats.

  2. Next thing that matters the most is when you eat. Therefore regular meal and snack times also affects your blood sugar levels and will help to keep them more constant.

  3. Last but not the least how much you eat. As portion size matter the most though you eat you eat very healthy meals as if you eat too much its sure that you will gain weight as over weight is not good for health as it can increase your sugar level. Therefore over weight is a main cause of diabetes.
Therefore its not necessary to eat special foods instead is important that you should emphasize vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Therefore what I saying is that a diabetes diet is simply a healthy eating plan that is high in nutrients, low in fat, and moderate in calories. Therefore by changing your eating habbits  you can control your diabetes.
